It is a great pleasure for me to be here this evening on the occasion of the iftar dinner being hosted by our Consulate General.

Let me express that this meeting is a clear indication of the solidarity which is very important for understanding of the meaning of the holy month Ramadan.

Ramadan provides the perfect opportunity for the Muslim world to bring together the members of the society we live in.

In this context, this evening I am very delightful to come together with my Turkish and Egyptian brothers and friends in Alexandria.

Before concluding my words, I would like to mention that with its legendary lighthouse, bibliotheca, palaces, museums, royal gardens and a number of other awesome places, I am very pleased to be in this historical city with my family.

I take this opportunity to wish you a peaceful and healthy Ramadan month.
