Dear representatives of the Egyptian travel agencies,
Distinguished participants,

It is a great pleasure for me to come together with you at the iftar dinner organized by our Turkish Airlines’ Office in Alexandria.

On this occasion, I wish to express my appreciation to our Egyptian brothers and sisters for honoring us with their attendance tonight.

As you know, Turkish Airlines which is the only European airline company existing in Alexandria, operates 7 days per week from Istanbul. The first flight of Turkish Airlines touched down Alexandria 7 years ago on the 19th of June in 2010. It means that today we also celebrate our 7th anniversary in this historical and romantic city.

On the other hand, I am very proud to bring to your attention that frequencies of Istanbul–Alexandria Turkish Airlines' flights will be increased from 7 to 9 flights per week as of July 02, 2017. In this way, Turkish Airlines will add two daytime flights to its already existing Istanbul-Alexandria flights.

Actually, this direct flights between Istanbul and Alexandria facilitate bringing our two friendly and brotherly peoples closer. Furthermore, this connection attracts more economic activity, commerce and investment to Alexandria not only from Turkey, but also from other parts of the world.
